Zagreb Walking Tour (~ 3h) - "Happily Lost"
Since the legs have a limited range of motion, we'll act like poets, walking on the ground with heads in the cloud
Every city can be explored in myriad ways, but one thing we dislike - being lost. We suggest you to become "happily lost" in Zagreb. Together we will visit places that tourists often miss, because they are not documented in printed guides. They hide the past, which has influenced the present. We'll be completely honest, you'll see all the virtues and shortcomings of Zagreb.
Since the legs have a limited range of motion, we'll act like poets, walking on the ground with heads in the cloud. Walking downtown area, stories, myths and legends will present the old medieval towns (Gradec&Kaptol). We'll explain how they were merged into one city - Zagreb, and its slow transformation to cosmopolitan metropolis. Along the way, we will definitely stop at Dolac market "the belly of the city", and try some local delicacy, depending on what we find at "Kumica" booth.
If your tour should has emphasis in some detail (history, art, architecture, design, nature, sports, daily life, etc.), tell us about it. We will propose a tour program tailored to that detail.
Food and wine tasting (optional)
Also, we can include visit to wine cellar with Croatian food and wines. In series of 3-4 mini snacks and 2-3 different types of wine, you'll get quick overview of Croatian cuisine.
